Volunteer to be a Human Book Today

Save the date for the Human Library conversation - November 2

Do you have a unique life experience you would like to share or a unique perspective that the community would benefit from hearing? Would you like to be a part of this incredible chance for an open dialogue? Consider volunteering to be a Human Book on November 2nd in the Library!

On Friday, November 2nd, the Le Moyne College Noreen Reale Falcone Library will be hosting the annual Human Library event to start conversations that matter! During the Human Library event people from all walks of life, each with different stories to tell, come together in a safe and open environment to share their unique life experiences and participate in a dialogue about those experiences. Readers “check out” human books for 20-30 minute sessions and have a conversation together.

We are currently looking for faculty, staff, and students to serve as Human Books at our event on November 2nd, for any amount of time.

To apply to be a Human Book by September 30, or to learn more about what a Human Book does, please visit https://resources.library.lemoyne.edu/humanlibrary/Beabook.
