Library Renovation Phase 2 begins Monday, May 21.
The Noreen Reale Falcone Library will remain open and services will continue throughout the summer renovation project starting May 21 until its completion in mid to late August. Here is a link to the hours this summer: http://resources.library.lemoyne.edu/library/hours
The services of checkouts & returns, course reserves (books, films, and anatomy models), part of the dvd collection, and ILL are temporarily relocated to the Library atrium. Library visitors can use computer workstations and tables that are available in the QRC and Student Success Center. The second floor, the entire book collection, special collections and archives, and study rooms will be available.
The librarians will stay in their new office area on the first floor and are available to help students and faculty and staff both in person and online text or chat via http://ask.library.lemoyne.edu/
Inaccessible areas in the Library will be the Muserlian Instructional Lab, the 2nd floor bathrooms, no elevator service from June 13 until about July 25, and the access road to the rear of the Library and the Performing Art Center will remain closed all summer.
Disability Support Services’ temporary summer locations are RH447 for support staff and Foery Hall 105 for Roger Purdy.
The IT Service desk staff of Ranata DeGennaro and her student assistants will operate out of Mitchell Hall in the IT conference room. The Academic Technology group of Royce Robertson, Mark Ramsden, and Roula Creighton will temporarily be in Mitchell Hall room 006.
All telephone extensions remain unchanged for all offices that are remaining in the library this summer and those that have temporary locations in other buildings.
Come join the Le Moyne College Book Club on Wednesday, June 13 as we discuss Beneath a Scarlet Sky by Mark T. Sullivan. We will be meeting in the Bernat Special Activities Room in the Noreen Reale Falcone Library from 7-8:30 pm. Refreshments will be served!
