Le Moyne College presents the work of artist Richell Castellón, February 25 to March 30.
Meet the artist on Friday, February 28, 4pm-6pm at the reception in the Noreen Reale Falcone Library’s Wilson Art Gallery.
Due to the weather forecasted for this Friday, the library is closed on February 7th. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause but encourage you to use our online resources in the meantime. If you need assistance, our 24/7 chat service is available at – http://resources.library.lemoyne.edu/askus/by-chat
Do you have a unique life experience you would like to share or a unique perspective the community would benefit from hearing? Are you a member of a group often stereotyped, or misunderstood? Would you like to be a part of this incredible chance for an open dialogue? We are looking for faculty, students, and staff to share their stories and experiences about different cultures, identities, and life experiences. We are looking for Living Books, willing to have conversations with others.
During the Living Library event, to be held on March 18th from 3-6 pm in the Library, you can “check out” Living Books for 20-30 minutes at a time for one-on-one conversations during which you can ask questions and learn from their experiences. This is a dialogue from which everyone can benefit. You can check-out any Living Books which you might like to hear from either on the spot during the event or reserve a check-out period in advance!
To apply to be a Living Book please fill out and submit the Google form by February 29th.
Please feel free to contact Kari Zhe-Heimerman at email@example.com with any questions.
Pet therapy, provided by Pet Partners of Central New York, is being offered at the library on Monday, February 17th from 6 – 7:30 pm and Tuesday, February 18th from 3 – 4:30 pm. Stop by the library to unwind with a pet! Sessions will be held in the library atrium.
